Tyler Capozzi
Visual Storytelling & Film Production Advisor
Tyler Capozzi is a filmmaker, videographer, editor, and visual storyteller whose passion for capturing the world around him began long before digital content became part of everyday life. His interest in video started in the early 2000s with a Hi8 video camera that rarely left his side. From documenting everyday life to learning the fundamentals of production in high school, Tyler quickly discovered that filmmaking was more than an interest—it was a craft he wanted to pursue.
He went on to major in Film-Video at The Pennsylvania State University, where he immersed himself in filmmaking, editing, production equipment, and post-production technology. His dedication to learning and creating opened the door to professional opportunities ranging from weddings and independent projects to television and outdoor productions.
Tyler's career has taken him around the world as a shooter and editor. He worked with Triple MAG, a groundbreaking all-female, family hunting and outdoor television program, traveling internationally to capture and edit stories from the field. He later provided post-production work for Archer's Choice and The Choice television programs featuring Ralph and Vicki Cianciarulo. These experiences strengthened his ability to capture authentic moments, shape compelling narratives, and use film to connect audiences with a story.
For more than a decade, Tyler and Vaughn Wilson have collaborated on numerous film and creative projects, developing a creative partnership built around turning ideas into powerful visual experiences. Tyler has played an important role in helping take a concept from vision to screen—bringing technical expertise, creative insight, cinematography, editing, and storytelling together to help each project communicate its message with excellence.
As Visual Storytelling & Film Production Advisor for The BLOC Ministries, Tyler contributes his experience and creative talents primarily through BLOC 27, the ministry's creative storytelling and film initiative. Through short films, visual campaigns, youth-centered stories, and other media projects, BLOC 27 uses the power of storytelling to address real issues, inspire young people, communicate hope, and create conversations that can impact lives.
Tyler helps transform the vision behind these stories into compelling visual content. Whether behind the camera, collaborating on creative direction, shaping a scene, capturing the right moment, or bringing a project together through post-production, his work helps ensure that the message behind each story is seen, felt, and remembered. His role within The BLOC Ministries reflects the belief that film and media can be powerful tools for ministry, mentorship, education, advocacy, and community impact.
Through BLOC 27, Tyler helps create stories that give young people something meaningful to see, something important to think about, and something powerful to believe is possible for their own lives.
Through his service with The BLOC Ministries, Tyler continues to use his gifts in filmmaking and visual storytelling to help bring the ministry's vision to life and expand its ability to connect with the next generation through creativity, excellence, and purpose.
