Sam Jackson

Project Development & Community Impact Advisor

Sam Jackson is a builder, entrepreneur, community servant, and passionate advocate for helping people reach their full potential. With extensive experience in construction, contracting, project development, and creative problem-solving, Sam brings a unique ability to take a vision and help turn it into something tangible that can serve people and strengthen communities.

At the heart of Sam's work is a genuine passion for people. He founded UFIT Thrive with a vision of helping individuals facing diabetes, pre-diabetes, and weight-related challenges take their lives back through community, nutrition, exercise, encouragement, and personal support. His approach reflects a belief that meaningful change begins by caring for the individual first and recognizing the God-given value and potential within every person.

Sam's commitment to service extends well beyond his professional work. Over the years, he has participated in numerous local, national, and international mission and community outreach efforts. His service has included traveling to Mozambique, Africa, to support an orphanage, traveling to Mission, Texas, to assist with building a church, and participating in many community-based outreach projects. Whether serving across the world or in a local neighborhood, Sam has consistently demonstrated a willingness to use his skills, creativity, and resources to help others.

As Project Development & Community Impact Advisor for The BLOC Ministries, Sam helps bring the ministry's vision for transformative spaces and community projects to life. His experience in construction and development provides valuable insight when evaluating potential properties, designing and developing youth-centered facilities, renovating spaces, and determining how buildings can be transformed to meet the needs of young people and families. His expertise will also support initiatives such as Jake's Place, where potential properties may be evaluated and redeveloped into safe and supportive environments for youth, as well as the URISE Initiative, where Sam's construction knowledge can help introduce young people to practical workforce skills, skilled trades, construction, project development, and career pathways.

Sam brings more than construction expertise to The BLOC Ministries. He brings the heart of a servant, the mind of a builder, and the ability to see possibilities where others may only see an unfinished project. His role helps ensure that as The BLOC Ministries grows, its vision can be translated into spaces, programs, projects, and opportunities that make a lasting impact in the lives of young people.

Through his service with The BLOC Ministries, Sam is committed to helping build environments where youth can discover their purpose, develop practical skills, experience genuine community, and be equipped for a stronger future.

Reaching every youth, every city, one B.L.O.C. at a time.
