Jevon “The Cut” Ferguson is a barber, nonprofit founder, motivational speaker, community servant, and passionate advocate for young people whose life reflects the power of transformation, purpose, and service. As the founder of An Act of Love, Jevon has built a reputation for showing up wherever people are in need. From providing food throughout local communities and supporting outreach efforts to offering free barber services for youth and families, Jevon believes that serving people is one of the most powerful ways to demonstrate love. He is the kind of leader who is willing to stay until the work is finished, help wherever there is a need, and use whatever is in his hands to make a difference.

More than a barber, Jevon uses the barber chair as a place of connection, encouragement, mentorship, and inspiration. His ability to relate to young people allows him to speak directly to their struggles while challenging them to recognize their value, discover their purpose, and believe that their future can be greater than their past.

Jevon's own journey of transformation has become part of his message. As Community Outreach, Motivation & Youth Engagement Advisor for The BLOC Ministries, Jevon plays an important role in helping the ministry connect authentically with youth and families in the communities we serve. His barbering skills, nonprofit experience, motivational voice, community relationships, and genuine heart for young people make him a powerful resource for outreach initiatives, youth events, mentorship opportunities, and community engagement.

Through his service with The BLOC Ministries, Jevon helps young people see beyond where they are today and begin believing in who they can become. His presence reinforces a message at the heart of The BLOC: every young person matters, every story has value, and purpose can rise out of even the most difficult chapters of life.
